3.1.16 Town Square Inns’ - Matt’s Mountain Report

Around here we call it March Radness! This is going to be one month chalk full of awesomeness!

“Shred, Party Repeat” they say!  There will be live music going on somewhere in the valley every single night.  This weekend is the famous Dick’s Ditch Classic Banked Slalom.  This weekend, amateurs and pros will compete in this crazy banked slalom course with jumps all over the place.  The event will be held at Dick’s Ditch near the bottom of amphitheater.  Come check it out!  Also, don’t forget about music under the tram this Saturday from 3 – 6pm.  This is a free concert and a great way to wind down after a long day on the hill.

Current Conditions are packed powder and machine groomed snow.  We are now at 313 inches of snow for the season with an 85 inch base.  This week we can expect a few inches of snow during the beginning of the week and then sunny skies should prevail.  Temperatures are predicted to be in the high 30’s each day.  Conditions will vary with spring skiing on the lower mountain and hidden powder stashes on the upper mountain!  Go get it!
