3.15.16 Town Square Inns’ - Matt’s Mountain Report

Miracle March is here!

There has been talk of it, then not much happened.  People started to doubt it, and now it really is happening!  This week is going to be insane.  Just when you thought it was all about sunshine and spring skiing you find you are completely wrong and it is straight powder skiing!  This is also another huge weekend in Jackson Hole.  This weekend brings the Rendezvous Festival!  On Friday, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats are playing a free concert on the Town Square at 5pm.  Then on Saturday, The Zac Brown Band will be playing at the Base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort starting at 4pm.  Uncle Kracker will be closing the festival down on Sunday with Music Under The Tram starting at 3pm.  Come check it out!

Current Conditions are packed powder and machine groomed snow.  We are now at 340 inches of snow for the season with a 93 inch base.  Snow is predicted to fly every day until Saturday.  Strong winds have been blowing and buffing out the mountain for smooth powder turns.  Temperatures are predicted to be in the 30’s each day so it will be important to get after it early before the temperatures increase and the snow becomes heavier later in the day.  Enjoy!!
