3.21.16 Town Square Inns’ - Matt’s Mountain Report

Things are ramping up here in Jackson Hole and Hill Climb is upon us!

Big Trucks and Snowmobiles will be the name of the game around here.  This weekend, at Snow King Mountain, these athletes will be racing up Snow King.  This exciting event will end the ski season at Snow King and will also bring many great festivities to the valley.  On the other hand, this weekend is also Pole, Pedal, Paddle.  This is a four leg race from Teton Village to Astoria Hot Springs consisting of Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Biking, and Boating!  On Saturday at 7am, teams will kick off in Teton Village for this Classic Jackson Hole Tradition.

Current Conditions are packed powder and machine groomed snow.  We are now at 374 inches of snow for the season with a 97 inch base.  Another storm is predicted to come in this week.  Up to 18 inches of white fluff is predicted to fall by Wednesday.  Snow is promising to fly every day until Saturday.  This Teton Powder Party is just getting started!  Temperatures will be in the 30’s daily.   Savor the Flavor and ski it like you mean it!
