Fall Arts Festival Event Guide
Each September, the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival celebrates top Western, wildlife, and landscape artists.
Here’s what you can look forward to in 2026.
Now in its 42nd year, the 12-day festival offers various experiences, including the Jackson Hole QuickDraw, Palates & Palettes, Arts on the Green, Western Visions, and the Sunday Art Brunch. It’s a signature event that cements Jackson Hole’s status as the premier art destination in the Rockies. More than 50 events transform local galleries and venues into art showcases.

Wednesday, September 9
Grizzly 399 Sculpture Unveiling
National Museum of Wildlife Art | 2820 Rungius Road
5 pm - 7 pm
Join the National Museum of Wildlife Art in the unveiling of their latest outdoor sculpture, the Grizzly 399. The event will include a dedication ceremony, artist meet-and-greet, and a public presentation.
Friday, September 11
Downtown Jackson
5 pm - 8 pm
Explore the many art galleries in the downtown Jackson area as they open their doors after hours for drinks and food, with the opportunity to meet local artists, all while biting into chef-curated hors d’oeuvres and drinking wine pairings.
Saturday, September 12
Western Visions® Exhibit Opening
National Museum of Wildlife Art | 2820 Rungius Road
10 am - 5 pm
The National Museum of Wildlife Art will once again host its annual fundraiser event, the Western® Visions Exhibit. Be the first to catch a glimpse of resident wildlife artists' works at the opening, and celebrate the winners of the event's annual awards.
Sunday, September 13
Center for the Arts | 240 S Glenwood Street
10 am - 5 pm
Arts on the Green is the Fall Arts Festival's traditional art fair. Shop handmade goods, like ceramics, jewelry, prints, photography, and more. Entrance tickets are $6, and children under 12 enter for free.
Wednesday, September 16
Fall Arts Festival Gallery Walk
Multiple Locations
5 pm - 8 pm
Travel through the streets of galleries available throughout the Jackson area with the Fall Arts Festival Gallery Walk. Engage with our community and celebrate the culture that enriches our home in Jackson.
Featured Artwork Poster Signing with Ben Steele
Altamira Fine Art | 172 Center Street, #100
5 pm - 7 pm
This year's winner of the Fall Arts Festival Featured Artwork, Ben Steele, will be signing posters at this event. Meet the artist, receive a signed poster, and meet with your fellow art lovers.
Thursday, September 17
Thal Glass Studio | 3800 Linn Drive, Wilson
10 am - 5 pm
In nearby Wilson, browse the incredible glass artistry of Thal Glass Studios. This event doesn't just highlight the unique mastery of the glassblowers, but also showcases their work in demonstrations and in educational talks with the studio staff.
National Museum of Wildlife Art | 2820 Rungius Road
5 pm - 8:30 pm
Following the opening of this exhibit at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the collection will be placed on sale at the Western Visions® Show and Sale. Browse the artwork and maybe take some home.
Friday, September 18
Jackson Hole Showcase of Homes

Explore the art of architecture with tours of the uniquely Jackson homes. Wander the homes that stand as testaments to Teton County's sophisticated design scene.
Saturday, September 19
Center for the Arts | 240 S Glenwood Street
12 pm
The Jackson Hole Art Auction brings art collectors together to compete for the purchase of pieces that define Western art.
Jackson Hole QuickDraw & Auction
Jackson Town Square
8 am - 1 pm
As part of the QuickDraw, watch artists take 90 minutes to create an entirely original piece of art before their pieces are auctioned off to attendees!

Following the QuickDraw event and auction, the annual QuickDraw Celebration will be hosted at Cloudveil. This event brings patrons, artists, auctioneers, and attendees together for an evening of drinks and celebration before the Fall Arts Festival's final day.

Sunday Art Brunch: Fall Arts Festival

The Fall Arts Festival ends with a series of brunches held at the art galleries. If you missed any of the artwork at the local spots, swing by on the last day for a mimosa, small bites, and good company.
Event Highlight: Jackson Hole Quickdraw and Auction
Saturday, September 19 | Jackson Town Square
The QuickDraw is one of Jackson Hole’s most anticipated cultural events. This live art showcase is where talented artists create works in real time on the iconic Town Square. It offers a rare chance to watch creativity in action and connect with artists in the community.
Watch 30 painters, sculptors, and mixed-media artists create original works in just 90 minutes. Following the Quickdraw, participate in a live auction where you can bid on your favorite piece, with proceeds benefiting both the artists and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce’s community programs.
