Every May, before Memorial Day Weekend, Jackson Hole celebrates its Western heritage, Native American culture, and Rocky Mountain fur trade history during Old West Days. This family-friendly festival features live music performances, engaging activities, and incredible food, highlighting Jackson's community culture and the enduring legacy of its pioneering past.

Top Activities
Teton Powwow | May 9
Celebrate Native American cultures at the Teton Powwow on May 9. Shop Native American art and crafts, then grab a bite to eat from one of the food vendors. The dance competition will begin at noon, so be sure to find a good viewing spot to enjoy the performances.
Restaurant Week | May 15-22
From May 15 to May 22, restaurants throughout Jackson Hole and Teton Village will offer special prix fixe menus at discounted prices for Restaurant Week. Make reservations at a few of the participating restaurants to delight in some of the best food in the region.
ElkFest | May 15 -17
Among the must-see attractions at Old Town Days is the world-famous ElkFest Elk Antler Auction featuring elk antlers amassed by local Boy Scout troops that draw eager bidders, along with private sellers offering antlers, paddles, horns, bison and bighorn skulls for sale on the streets encircling the iconic Town Square.
Old West Family Activities | May 15-25
Bring your kids to the Teton County Fairgrounds for the Old West family activities going on all week and weekend. Kids of all ages will have a chance to try their hand at various activities, including cowboy roping, archery, and western crafts.
High Noon Chili Cook-off | May 17
Head to Town Square for the annual High Noon Chili Cook-off to savor a spicy variety of chilis made by amateur and professional chefs. Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite dish!
Million Dollar Music Fest | May 22
Enjoy live performances by some of the biggest names in country at the annual Million Dollar Music Fest, a FREE outdoor music festival at Town Square. This year’s festival is on Sunday, May 25, and features Midland, John Michael Montgomery, and Tenille Townes.
Best of the West Parade | May 23
Find a spot on the sidewalks along Glenwood Street and Broadway Avenue to catch sight of costumed groups, bands, floats, and more from 10 AM to 11 AM. The procession showcases the wonders and hard work of Jackson Hole's community in a great, dazzling march. The event is a lively spectacle, perfect for some family-friendly fun.
Jackson Hole Shootout | Monday-Saturday, Starting May 31
Witness an authentic Wild West shootout at the nightly Jackson Hole Shootout in Town Square. Kicking off the season on May 31st, this free, family-friendly performance is the longest-running gunfight in the U.S., captivating audiences with blazing gunplay, daring stunts, and gripping frontier drama. Relive the thrilling days of the Old West in this spectacular evening show.
